Kris L

“My dad told me he had an art degree and he passed it on. When I was nine I picked up a pencil and I found a hidden talent within me. It opened my eyes.

I’ve been an artist at Inside Out Productions since 2011. I like to hang out with the other artists. But, I do like working by myself because I can concentrate better. I like to focus and relax. I’m happy with the results. I feel accomplished.

My name is Kris L. I like being here on Mondays and Wednesdays, art days, because I like to advance my art skills. Me and my friends and my half bro Doug H. are champions when coming to a basketball game at the park. I have been working on new projects and my other artworks too after the last art show. My advice is: If you do the crime, you do the time. I learned my arts from my late Dad and my brother and sister. I am an animation artist when I get the time to do it, I like to draw anime and wildlife like animals and trucks and cars. I don’t do my drawings all the time when I am at home. When I am at home I do the house cleaning. Art is like my fourth or fifth thing to do when I am at home on the weekends when I don’t have music class. I’m coming up with some new inspiration for new animations instead of staying with the same pics and drawings.”

The Crab
9" x 9" x 3
Ceramic

The Crab is a sea creature that I like, the Crab is a delicacy that can be eaten. When a crab loses a leg, it can regenerate the limbs. Crabs' colors depend on what parts of the ocean they are from. They can also defend the sea from predators, like other crabs and squids. They are unique creatures, Sometimes the crab shells are hard and sometimes soft. Its nice to see crabs on the beach.

The Eagle

6 ¾ " x 4 ¾ " x 3"

Ceramic

I designed an Eagle because it is our nation’s friend. The Bald Eagle. The color of the eagle‘s head is white and the tail is white also. The talons are a yellowish color like the legs and beak. The body is brownish in color. The wing span can be 4 to 6 feet wide. When an eagle has a baby, the parents find them food. Eagles fly over lakes and when they see a fish they catch it for food. You can see eagles up on the trees or flying in the air.

The Midnight Howl
12” x 12”
Mixed medium on canvas with acrylic, beads, pearls and rhinestones

This painting is like when you are walking in the woods, you can hear the wolves howling. To me the wolves are unique and exotic spiritual animals. This painting is created with acrylic paint and beads on canvas. The wolves are guardians of their territory. They are always with you in the woods.
