Lisa F

“It is a challenging life. I notice that the world is different than it really is. There are shiny moons and stars up in the sky with me in the world. There are reflections in the water. I pick boats because they go on the water. I pick boats because I like to go on a cruise. Art makes me feel good and brings me joy.

I have been an artist here at L.A. GOAL. I am a good artist. I like to draw because it’s fun and I do a lot of artwork. I feel like I’m a professional artist and that makes me happy.

My name is Lisa F. I have been with L.A. GOAL for over 35 years. My favorite part about being an artist is doing different projects. I like lasagna, to read and write poetry. T.S. Eliot is my favorite writer. I like to play games, watch t.v., read a book, and write in my journal. I was just thinking about a practical joke played on me meant for someone else. My favorite project was to work on the shadow box, space plants, draw, paint, sew, weave, do poetry, do embroidery. My advice is to go for a frozen yogurt. I like to swim, go shopping, go to the mall, and go out to eat. I like to go to the movies, go do stuff, go to the beach, go gamble.”
