Optical Illusion of Geometric Triangles
Matthew S.
Acrylic Markers on Canvas
24” x 30”

“Back in Highschool, I was doing my free choice class after I switched Geometry Class when I was a senior. Geometry was hard and I couldn't remember because it was more challenging than algebra I. For free choice we all were doing our word search during the class. If I completed the word search and felt bored, I drew geometric triangles on the corner of the paper. I always do that a lot of the triangles will get smaller and smaller, and smaller like in a grid triangles. I did the same thing if I was doing free art when I started LA GOAL. If I made the triangles any smaller, I color in by putting in the secret message such as my name, someone’s birthday cards and something random. I am the coolest and talented artist..”
